Gottfried Böhm designed the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film in München Germany, including the Museum of Egyptian Art. Böhm was selected for the project in 2005 out of a competition of 38 firms.
The projection screen at the entry is a major feature for this building, as it investigates media and the intellectual realities that translate into the built edifice. The traditional German, the Bohm brutalism, and the modern glass come together in this artistic form of light and repetition.
