Listen up Minneapolis friends! The Walker Art Center and 89.3 The Current are both very busy planning Rock The Garden 2011 to make this the best year yet! This popular indie-rock fest will take place next Saturday, June 18th from 3-10:30 PM outside the Walker Art Center. You can expect to see performances from Tapes 'n Tapes, Booker T. Jones, Neko Case and last but not least My Morning Jacket. Between sets, enjoy selections from The Current's DJs, stroll through the world-famous sculpture garden and choose from a nice variety of food & beer. This party is rain-or-shine and all-ages. Walker Art Center Rock The Garden Tickets

The Walker Art Center & 89.3 The Current have been busy planning Rock The Garden 2010, which is the summer's first outdoor music festival right here in Minneapolis. It will take place on Saturday, June 19th at 3 pm. Some of the big names that will play at Rock the Garden are Grammy Award winners OK Go; Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings; MGMT and the local Retribution Gospel Choir. 89.3 The Current's DJs will be playing in between sets. This all-ages, rain-or-shine party has sold out the previous two years and I'm pretty sure it's sold out through the Walker Box Office too.
