^plentyofants- flickr/cc licenseIan Simpson Architects designed the
Urbis in the Cathedral Garden. It was built in 2002 in Millennium Quarterof Manchester near the
Triangle Shopping Centre.
The 2,000 panels of glass on the exterior and the green copper roof really make it stand out, but isn't much loved by the city, to put it mildly. The cold hard rational design and round skijump form is rather out of place.
