I.M. Pei designed the Bank of China tower (BOC) in Hong Kong, completed in 1989. It rises 367 meters and 70 stories in a geometrical pattern of thick inner structure and exterior glazing, four linked triangular modules. The interior atrium rises 15 stories.
Leslie E. Robertson Associates was the structural engineer and Sherman Kung & Associates the local architect.
