Contact precautions: A very personal view

The latest issue of the Annals of Family Medicine has an interesting essay, "Losing Touch in the Era of Superbugs," by a physician who struggles with contact precautions. Recently hospitalized with a MRSA infection, he has a new fear of becoming infected at work, yet realizes how important human touch is in the practice of medicine.
