Back in February and June, we posted on a linezolid-resistant, cfr-mediated S. aureus outbreak in Spain. Now there is a new report on a clonal S. epidermidis outbreak in NE Ohio carrying the same resistance gene. The report includes strain analysis from 2 hospitals. LRSE?CID article, Bonilla et al.
