Add Photo to My Computer Properties
Add the above image to My Computers -> Properties.It works only for Win XP.It is easy to change the OEM information and the picture in the My Computers -> Properties. This is how we do it.
To change OEM information.
Once you are done editing the image, save it as oemlogo.bmp. Then copy the image to your System32 folder. To open System32 folder, open Start Menu → Run, type %windir%\system32 and press Enter. This would open your System32 folder. Now copy paste your oemlogo.bmp file in this folder.
But the logo will not show until you create a file oeminfo.ini in the System32 folder. The oeminfo.ini file has a general structure as shown below :
1. Open notepad and copy the following into it.
[General]
Manufacturer=Any Content you like
[Support Information]
Line1=Any content you like
Line2=Any content you like
Line3=Any content you like
[You can type in anything after = sign]
2. Save the file as OEMINFO.INI and copy it into the System32 folder in the Windows directory. While saving in the notepad, make sure that you select All Files from the Save As Type in the Dialogue box.
To change the Picture
1. Make a picture of 180 X 120 pixels. You can use Photoshop or similar software.
2. Save the photo as OEMLOGO.bmp and copy it into the same System32 folder in Windows directory.
