Gottfried Böhm designed the Hans Otto Theatre in Schiffbauergasse, Potsdam, completed in 2006. Red wood is carefully composed with with concrete structure and glazed walls. It faces the Tiefer See lake near some Prussian hussars’ barracks, much like the Sydney Opera House.
