U.S. Department of Homeland Security following graduation

David L. Boren Scholarships are a generous offering from the federal government to students pursuing studies in critical needs countries. Students engaging in a program of study in Thailand may apply for consideration. You better be up to snuff academically, though, these are not for the feint of heart. Top awards go to top talent. Awards are available to undergraduate and graduate level students who are heading into programs that immerse them in local culture and common language studies. Up to $20,000 may be earned. This is a Service for Scholarship program, so recipients must be willing to work for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security following graduation. A paid internship is also required sometime during the program.
