Eberhard Zeidler and Bregman + Hamann Architects designed the Eaton Center in Toronto, Ontario Canada. It first opened in 1977, with an expansion in 1982, and a third construction in 1992 with collaboration with Crang & Boake. Zeidler most recently collaborated with Queen's Quay Architects International Inc. to build a new wing in 2006.

Needless to say it's big, with balconies and bridges stretching across a massive grand vertical space. The barrel vaulted galleria skylight overhead provides plenty of light. The Eaton Center Square outside is the shopping heart of downtown Toronto. It is called a "soft Times Square."
