Instead of scouring Craigslist for internships, graduate students can go directly through BU’s MBA Entrepreneurship Career Community to work on exciting business projects in Boston. With the Enable program, businesses of all sizes contact the Institute directly to request interns. ITEC’s website lists several different project options, including, “market research in establishing a new business unit, analyzing the feasibility of a new product or service introduction, supporting the development of new strategic partnerships” and “helping a company prepare for new geographic or international expansion.” Students work about ten hours a week and are expected to professionally contribute to the enterprise for which they intern. The benefit for businesses? The internships are unpaid, so businesses receive quality work in exchange for showing students what they know. To request that your business take part in the Enable Program, check out the ITEC website for more information.
