Juan Coll-Barreu designed the Sede del Departamento de Sanidad en Bilbao (Department of Public Health Headquarters in Bilbao), which opened in 2007. The energized exterior facade brings movement and reflectivity to the urban core of the city.
The objects in the context become moving vectors and determine the folds in the building's exterior. The double layered facade also helps with environmental control systems, saving energy.
